      Lobachevsky Museum is one of the youngest University museum, opened in 2017, in honor of the 225th anniversary of the birth of the scientist.
      Lobachevsky Museum is located on the 2nd floor of the “rector’s house”. From 1827 to 1845 the rector of the University, the great Russian mathematician Nikolai Lobachevsky lived in this building with his family.
      The Museum houses the famous library of the Geometric cabinet of the Kazan University.
      The exposition of the Museum contains a large number of interactive stands, thanks to which you can learn a lot of interesting facts about the life and work of the great geometer, the history of the rector’s house and the University complex.
      Each hall of the Lobachevsky Museum is unique and tells not only about the great scientist and his ideas, but also about his followers and science in General.
